Our process begins with getting to know you—your lifestyle, your ideas, and your vision for the perfect home. Whether you’re imagining a Forever Home, a Family Cabin, or a Country Homestead, we’d love to be part of that journey.

Our Story

Bronson Design began in 2014 as a small side project while working for a local architect—a way to explore creativity and make a little extra money on the side. What started as a humble venture quickly grew into something bigger, fueled by a passion for designing homes that truly matter to the people who live in them.

Our first big break came in 2016 with a custom home project that went on to become a Georgie Finalist, a milestone that gave us the confidence to dive deeper into the world of custom home design. Since then, we’ve been fortunate to partner with amazing clients who trust us to turn their dreams into reality.

Today, Bronson Design is proud to serve communities across British Columbia and beyond, specializing in creating homes that reflect the unique stories, lifestyles, and visions of each family we work with.

FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
My interest in architecture began at a young age. Growing up I spent a lot of time sketching house plans, flipping through home design magazines, and following my dad around our project sites. Those experiences helped shape my love for Architecture and construction.
Today, with over 15 years of experience, I’m fortunate to turn that passion into a career.
For each project I endeavour to bring my creative ability, easy going approach and knowledge of construction to meet, and exceed the vision clients have for their home
When I’m not designing, I enjoy spending time with my family, dreaming about sailing, and imagining what it would be like to have my own Scandinavian Homestead.
Carsten

BUILDING DESIGNER
Hi, I’m Carsten—a proud dad to three amazing girls and happily building a life with my wife since 2005. Born and raised in the Fraser Valley, I’ve always been drawn to cycling, architecture, music, and literature, though cycling and the outdoors are my go-to passions.
With nearly two decades of experience in architectural drafting, design, and project management, I’ve worked on a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. From crafting detailed drawings to coordinating teams and managing complex projects, I love the challenge of turning creative ideas into functional, beautiful spaces.
I value precision, creativity, and collaboration, whether I’m working on a design project or out on a Sunday group ride. Outside of work, I’m an active member of a local cycling team and a passionate advocate for the growing world of cycling e-sports.
Ben

BUILDING DESIGNER
Ben grew up immersed in the world of house design, with both his grandfather and father working in the industry. In 2017/2018, he earned his Drafting Certificate from the University of the Fraser Valley and has been contributing to the field ever since.
Over the years, Ben has gained experience working on a wide range of building types, but he’s especially drawn to designing custom homes. He loves the creativity and variety they offer and takes pride in balancing form and function to ensure every project is both beautiful and practical.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Ben hiking in the mountains, honing his photography skills, drawing, or spending quality time with family and friends.
Ruth

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
From a young age, I’ve loved drawing floor plans, working with numbers, and organizing—an early glimpse into my lifelong passion for creativity and structure. This passion naturally led me to a career in administration, where I’ve found my niche in architectural design administration.
With over two decades of experience in various industries, I bring a diverse skill set to the table. My expertise includes administration, management, bookkeeping, reception, customer service, and office operations such as calendar, database, file, and small business management. I’ve also excelled in event planning and thrive in roles that involve collaboration, coordination, and building relationships.
Outside of work, I’m a proud grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren, mother to three amazing adult children, and wife to a wonderful husband! In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with family and friends, designing and creating quilts, cooking, baking, camping, golfing, gardening, decorating, and woodworking.
